Almost

Just a few days to go now, GB sticker on car, oil checked, sunglasses polished. Final few things to get, Did you know you can buy Durecell batteries for way less then half price from the interweb? These are industrial versions. 

Still deciding what cook books to take, so many and such little space. joe mobile French SIM card now topped up, that data and unlimited calls to most parts of the world for just €21 a month, very handy to call the wife from the other side of the campsite to bring a wine!

Food

One of the best parts of being a courier for me is FOOD, waking up each day in France and the thought of great local produce, fresh fish and the smell of bread baking at the local boulanger. Can't wait to bbq the local sardines wow. 

Cook books packed, spices secured in their containers and my trusty old seasoned frying pan at the ready. 

Bring it on. 

What's a week

So This time next week we will have had a good sleep in a peimier classe hotel, with a little help from our red wine friends. Then we will be off to our campsite. 

No idea what happens then, we think we might be off around northern France doing a little montage. 

Either way we can't wait. 

1 week

Well a week to go before we leave, almost all is ready now, just looking at organic flea and tuck control options for the two four legged couriers. Neem oil, coconut oil etc who knows. 

Illuminating

New headlights  bulbs fitted to the car today, not interesting but thought I'd mention it anyway. Off to dentist Wednesday to get the remnants of a tooth root out. Ouch 

April is here

Well we go this month, it seems a long time coming. Almost everything is ready, a couple of pairs of shorts to get and that's about it. The euro is wreaking again, that's good for our sterling wages and also for those booking a euro holiday from the UK. 

Just can't wait to feel some warmth. Fed up with the cold weather here.
